Exceptional and uncommon version of the Kalaari pendant lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti for Oluce in the 1970s. This example features a distinctive blank steel finish, a variation rarely produced and seen on the market. Composed of three interlocking geometric shades — two conical and one inverted — the Kalaari embodies Magistretti’s architectural approach to light and form. The untreated steel surface lends the lamp a raw, sculptural presence that evolves beautifully over time, emphasizing the play between material, shadow, and reflection. Presented in excellent vintage condition with a natural patina consistent with age. A rare and striking example of Italian design, combining industrial purity with poetic restraint.
