Modern Living is an (online) gallery offering a personal selection of high quality 20th century design originals with a focus on Scandinavian design and collectables. Specialized in mid-century furniture, lighting, decorative arts and objects, we only offer the finest design. All our pieces are restored in the most gentle and passionate way with respect for the natural patina and original wear, in order to keep the unique character of our pieces. We can also organise reupholstery (of your own mid-century furniture) by our craftsman. Modern Living is located in the heart of Antwerp, hidden in a small side street of the well-known Kloosterstraat. Our showroom is open for public, off course our items can be (safely) packed and shipped worldwide.
When modern loving becomes Modern Living.
Modern Living is grown out of a (love story) collaboration between Studio Zoo and Die Firma. Both specialized in mid-century furniture, lighting, objects and a passion for decorative arts they started working together. Working together let to living together and soon Modern Living was born.
