Rare early edition Atollo table lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti for Oluce in 1977. This example is an original first edition, model 233, distinguished by its unique mud green–brown coated aluminum finish. This experimental surface treatment was introduced by Oluce during the lamp’s initial production phase but soon discontinued due to the complexity and inconsistency of its results. As a consequence, only a very limited number of pieces were produced, making this version exceptionally rare and highly sought after among collectors. Labeled by Oluce and presented in beautiful original condition, this early Atollo embodies the precision, balance, and sculptural purity that define Magistretti’s most celebrated work — a timeless icon of Italian modern design.
