Magnificent brutalist highboard by Maison Aurora, Belgium 1970s. Constructed entirely from dark stained oak, the piece showcases deeply sculpted doors that create a bold, architectural presence. The upper section opens to reveal a bar compartment, complete with glass shelves and an integrated light, making it both functional and atmospheric. Below, the lower doors conceal a generous storage space with a central shelf, ideal for organizing dinnerware, books, or linens. This piece has been restored with love by our craftsmen, bringing out the rich texture of the oak and ensuring it remains in excellent condition. Often misattributed to De Coene, it nonetheless stands as a stunning and authentic example of Belgian brutalist design—full of charm, character, and craftsmanship. Collector’s item.
