Impressive modernist large vase by De Coene Freres, Belgium 1940’s. This vase has a beautiful graphical effect. Made of solid mahogany wood, the vase was first assembled from a multitude of individual pieces of timber chosen for their color, grain, and shape. The pieces are glued together in a block and then began the delicate process of turning the block to shape the vase. Very good original condition.
